Achieve Straight Teeth with Inman Aligner
The patented Inman Aligner method involves a “stand-alone” treatment with a removable orthodontic appliance. It is primarily used to align teeth before cosmetic treatments, such as aesthetic dental fillings or veneers, become necessary.
By aligning the teeth, you not only achieve a healthy and beautiful smile, but it also has a positive effect on dental and gum health. Without orthodontic treatment, teeth move freely in the mouth. With orthodontics, it is much easier to keep teeth and gums in good condition.
How does Inman Aligner work and what is the process?
Inman Aligner utilizes two metal bands that bring two Aligner bows together, gradually guiding the teeth into the desired position. The treatment time is between 3–6 months but can be completed even sooner.
You book an appointment for a consultation with our certified dentist. One of our certified dentists will assess whether the treatment is suitable for your case.
You will receive a realistic assessment so that you understand what the treatment entails and approximately how long it will take. If you and the dentist agree that Inman Aligner is a good option for you, impressions of the upper and lower jaw are taken, along with a bite registration showing how your teeth meet. The impressions are sent to the dental technician who will manufacture your individual brace.
Two weeks after the impressions have been taken, the fitting of the Inman Aligner is performed. You must wear the brace for 16–20 hours per day. A follow-up check must be conducted every 4 weeks with your dentist at TandCity in Malmö. Once the treatment is complete, a retainer (tooth stabilizer) must be used to prevent the teeth from shifting again. A retainer is a thin, fixed metal wire attached to the back of the front teeth.
