The price of dental implants can vary and it depends on where in the mouth the implant will sit and how simple or complicated the treatment is judged to be. The price also varies for those who are entitled to dental care support from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, as the treatment will be cheaper as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency covers part of the cost.<\/span><\/p>\n

The price of a root canal depends on how many canals a tooth has. Most teeth have between one and three roots, but there are also teeth with four or more roots. The price for two or more dental crowns is SEK 5,871 per dental crown. We only perform all-ceramic crowns of the highest quality and all crowns are manufactured by our own lab for the best fit and aesthetics. Dental crowns on front teeth are made from a material called E-max, while crowns on lateral teeth are made from the material zirconia. Teeth grinding is when you, usually during sleep, grind your teeth against each other. A typical outcome of a long period of grinding is short teeth, sunken face which is very wide as the muscles in the face have to work around the clock and therefore become very powerful. <\/span>Teeth grinding<\/span><\/a> usually due to stress but can also be due to an unstable bite. This is corrected with exercises, possible bite grinding and a bite splint that you use to sleep. A bite splint helps the jaw muscles to relax and thus treats symptoms such as headaches. How long teeth whitening takes varies a lot and depends on various factors. The factors that determine how long a bleaching lasts before the teeth darken again are smoking, wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks and basically all colored food. Genetics is also a factor, some tooth types attract dyes more easily than others. During the bleaching period and a few days after, you should refrain from e.g. wine, coffee and snuff to prevent the teeth from becoming discolored, as the enamel is more likely to discolor immediately after bleaching. After a couple of days you can return to normality. At TandCity we have two types of teeth whitening. The most common bleaching method is clinic bleaching, which means bleaching at our clinic. The treatment takes approximately 90 minutes and is carried out by our dental hygienist who is an expert in clinic whitening. You get whiter teeth immediately! This also includes individual whitening trays that we produce so that you can freshen up your smile a little from time to time at home. Whitening gel for home use is also included. Clinic bleaching costs SEK 5,500.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other variant is home bleaching. You start with a visit to our dental hygienist, who then takes an impression and prepares whitening trays. You also get whitening gel to whiten your teeth at home. Most often, you bleach overnight, at least 4 hours, for a couple of days until the desired shade is achieved. Home bleaching costs SEK 3,500.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can always buy more bleaching gel from us at the clinic when the gel runs out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which teeth whitening is best?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

There are many different brands of <\/span>teeth whitening<\/span><\/a>. After we have tried out a number of different brands, we have come to the conclusion that the one that is the best in tests in terms of both results and kindness to the teeth is Phillips ZOOM, which is a world-leading player in clinic whitening. We use Opalescens for home whitening as they are the best at this.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most important thing for us is that teeth whitening should be safe to use and should have underlying studies that support this.
